my chicken is breathing out her mouth

My 16 wekk old chicken is sneezing and breating out of her mouth. Just lays around all day. Help

Yes good idea! Is she hot?

No her food is always fresh. She might have eaten some moldy grass last week, but we took it out just as soon as we found it. She opens her mouth to breath

No she is not hot, we have a fan on her most of the time. She is in a cool shady spot under a tree

If she is not acting sick sick, I would not worry. The temperatures are high these days, and they are trying to cool off. I would make sure they have water all day & night, and maybe even put an electric fan out there if you're really worried. They also need some shade, so I would also make sure it is possible for them to find some. Hope this helped! Keep us updated...

Posted this before I saw the other posts.

No moldy food or coop. I clean her coop out every two weeks with fresh hay, she always has fresh food. She might have eaten some moldy grass two weeks ago but we took it out of the coop as soon as we found it. I don't think she is hot because at night when it is cool she still breaths that way. We have a fan blowing in the coop on hot days and ice in the water.
