My Chicken is Hatching her own eggs

I've never tried this before, but my year old buff orpington was broody, so I went to a chicken auction and bought some RIR eggs for her to hatch. I only put three in the nest. Is there anything else i need to do? Does anybody know the success rate of doing it naturally without an incubator? Thanks!

My broody buff orpingtons are super incubators/mothers. I've had hatches ranging from 77% (7 out of 9) to 100%. I suggest you do nothing for the next 21 days

I have a Game hen that is about a year old that went broody and is setting on three of her own and three from some other hens. She is MEAN ! I have to get my leather gloves to look under her. I've never had a broody before, so we will see what happens.
