My chicken is making a strange noise over and over

I checked on her at 10pm last night an she was still making the noise. I noticed another one of my hens on the opposite side of the coop making the same noise, and another was sneezing. Only sneezed 2-3 times. I checked on them again this morning before I left for work at 3:30am an both still making the noise.

I honestly think it's most likely cold or allergies. Keep an eye on it and let us know if anything else changes. Do you have more than these two? If so, I'd separate them just in case.

Well when I went to open the coop this morning around 9:30am the silkie was no longer making any of the noises she was before. But 3 of my other hens were, one was still sneezing. I'm in the process of joining the two flocks together right now. They are still seperated but only by netting now. I'll be cleaning to coop out tonight to see if maybe its something in their that's causing the issue.

Not at this time I can't. The coop is still under construction an with my husband gone 6 days a week we haven't had time to finish the inside. I've had the flock with the silkie for almost 2 weeks now an the lady I got them from had 20+ others an hasn't mentioned any issues with her renaming girls. I'm wondering if it's because the temp has dropped an they used to live in a green house and are now in a unheated coop.

Did you ever figure this out? My golden Wyandotte is making this noise today and we found a dead chicken this morning! So sad she was a good girl RIP Pasty!
I am hoping the two are not related. We think Pasty broke her neck somehow. But I am no expert
