My Chicken is making weird noises?

Oh so just in case, its normal right? He usually crows in the morning and even today, he started crowing at 4 in the morning!

You call it 'crowing' but in reality, he's calling for a mate or to see if there are any other quail around!

Yes, completely normal.

You should definitely have words with whoever sold you those as chickens, though. There is a huge difference between button quail and chickens, especially if you were looking forward to eggs and meat.

It she making cranky kookaburra noises when she's approached in the nest box? That's normal. Hens can crow, it's not unusual.

She’s doing it while walking around the coop and nesting boxes. I can see her on the camera…
