My Buff Orpington is very weak. She has lost a lot of weight and is unable to perch in the chicken coop. We have kept her inside during the nights and gave her medication mixed with food/water (And let her back outside during the day so she was active). However, she isn’t getting better. Do you have any suggestions for medication? Anything suggestion would help. We just want her to feel better.

More information:
We crushed probiotic pills and sprinkled it on watermelon. We also put dura stat with oregano in her water. She is 5 years old and stopped laying eggs about two weeks ago. We don’t think she has a prolapse because she would have been dead by now. She used to be the most broody chicken, but not anymore. She has trouble pooping. The poop is kind of watery. Her crest fell and now it’s floppy. I’m not sure why but it’s floppy. Her crop isn’t really full. She still eats, but not a lot.

You gave her "medication mixed with food/water" ... what medication?
Is she eating/drinking/pooping?
What are you feeding?
Is it possible she's broody?
Is her crop empty/full in the AM/PM?
How old is she?
When was the last time she laid?
A picture of her please ...

Have you checked to see if she's egg bound?
Her poop could be watery due to the watermelon. Is that all you're feeding her? What is her normal feed? Is she eating that? Her crop should be "full" prior to roosting, empty in the morning.
