My chicken is week and acting strange

Hello everyone, I notice one of my hens acting a little weirder than normal she would be sitting on the ground for long periods of time witch she never does. When I went in there to check she started flapping and couldn’t get up, she kept falling to the side she is very week and won’t eat or drink water. What could it be? She is a little over 5 months old now any suggestions? I separated her from the flock to a cage by her selfe to see if that would help. I have been making a lot of noice expanding the coop my a lot of stress? She kinda looks like she’s about to die. Hardly opens her eyes . Please help

I would probably take her to the vet to confirm problem. Offer sav a chick electrolytes in water/food and keeping isolated from others. Prayers!

Vets are usually unable to confirm Marek's as the testing needs to be done at a specialist lab, so submitting the carcass to the lab for testing is the most cost effective way to do it. The Diagnostics labs are often subsidised because chickens are part of the food chain, so the testing is less expensive whereas a private veterinary practice will charge a significant fee on top of the lab testing and they often do not have the knowledge of poultry ailments and diseases that the lab do.

That may sound a bit cold and calculating but many people here on BYC have spent a fortune on veterinary treatment for their chickens when the vets clearly had little or no knowledge of what they were dealing with (very few vets know much about poultry) or it was not possible to treat/fix the problem. The only thing worse than losing a bird is having a hefty bill (hundreds of dollars) to pay on top of it.

Thank you all for all your help unfortunately it is probably mareks I hate to see her like this, I just need to take the pain away. Sad to see her go, thank you all for your help and comments.
