my chicken just threw up on me. should I worry?

I was just outside giving the girls some sunflower seeds. One always jumps up on my lap to eat; after she gobbled them up she sat for a bit and then threw up about a teaspoon of tan water. I imagine she had just had a drink and then ate too fast but I have never had that happen before so I don't want to underreact. Is this regular behavior? I don't see anything (else) wrong with her.

I wouldn't worry. If she just had a drink of water, she probably just ate too fast afterward.

thanks, all. It was quite a surprise...to both of us, I think! and she IS a pig, for sure. That's why she jumps up-to get her own handful.

Did she just dribble a bit of water out, or consiously try to throw up, or did it just happen unexpectedly? I found a few articles...
