Life is so unfair.

Do you ever wonder why we don't get to be as pretty as chickens?

I do. Everyday they look better than I do when I'm dressed to the nines with my hair and makeup perfect.

They look better digging in the dirt than I do when I'm dressed for a formal occasion!

I mean, really! Is this fair?

Ruth is a beautiful bird. One of my first chicks developed a twisted neck and nearly died and I nursed her back to health. I named her Ruth and she became a beloved pet and my username. I wish your Ruth a long and healthy life.
