My chicken suddenly passed away

I went outside today to check on my chickens and found one of my Jersey Giant Blue and she just didn't seem like herself I picked her up and she almost fell into my arms. As I entered my house she projectiled clear vomit every where. Her breathe smelled sour and her crop was very full. I started with apple cider vinegar water and went to check on her and noticed her comb was darker and I picked her up and she vomited for 20 seconds straight clear liquid and flapped her wings and curled her head and died. When she passed her stool was very bloody. I thought it was sour crop, but it all happened so fast I am not surr now. She has been looking rough in the sense she looked as if she was molting is the best way I can describe it but it was not molting. I have 32 other chickens and dogs I want to keep alive and healthy. And thoughts on what happened to ny poor Mrs Rooster?

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's terrible when they die unexpectedly like that. If you refrigerate the body you can send it to your state lab for a necropsy and find out why she died.

Sorry to hear about Mrs Rooster. It is possible one of her organs failed which led to the slow crop.
