My husband shot the possum and then I imagine he tossed him in the back pasture for the coyotes and turkey vultures to eat.

About Neosporin - I have a chicken with a head injury I am nursing now - called my vet and he said to put Neosporin on her injury - so I think it's OK to use. Sorry for your loss.
