I have a little chicken who haven’t layed in over a week, she still acts normal but her big poop she layes in the morning, usually always in the same spot but I have noticed it’s not here anymore and I can’t see if she does her big poop anymore.
I also felt her abdomen today when I cut her feathers and it felt so squishy I could move it up and down and side to side easily. I could also feel her bones very easily around her vent.
Is she okay I’m kinda getting worried😕

Was it her lower abdomen between her legs that was squishy, or her crop area in her chest? Can you check if her crop empties by tomorrow morning before she eats or drinks? I would separate her in a dog crate with food and water, to see if she has a poop or lays an eggs. If her crop is not empty by morning, she may have a crop disorder. Try offering her some cooked egg and feed mixed with some water. Getting a weight would allow you to keep track of her weight loss or gain.

It was her abdomen between her legs that was squishy, I will separate her today to keep track of her poop and make sure she eats well😊 If she lets me I will also weigh her😊
