My Chickens are Finally...

Five of my twelve are finally using the roost! I went out there tonight to shut them up and count - and I only saw seven. I had a mini heart attack, then realized the other five were on the roost snoozing.

Of course Tony, the big rooster was there! He's so awesome.

Yay!!! It took a few days for mine to figure it out too.

mine havent figured it out yet but today I had that same sinking feeling till I figured out for the first time they were all in the coop at least, not huddled in the corner of the run.. no idea what spooked them as tonight they are back in the run again at sunset... One day........

It took mine over a month

Before that they were huddled in the corner by the door. They also just started getting access to their run (10 weeks old now). The coop was so big I kept them holed up in there to make sure they really knew where home was!
