My chickens are fine

A newbie posted elsewhere that coming to this forum was a terrifying experience. Chicks are sick. Chicks are injured. Chicks have died. I'd like to reassure them, and anyone else that needs reassurance, that chickens which are sick, injured, and/or dying are the exception not the rule. Mine have never known a days illness. One of mine even survived injuries from an eagle attack. My chickens are fine.

All good in our neck of the woods. I do like reading up on pests and emergencies just to be alert for the first signs of any kind of anything.

Well, shoot, if you come into the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures forum you will tend to see a lot of sick and injured chickens.

Sick happens. But not all the time.
