My chickens are having cold like symptoms and some have died, what can I do

I finally spoke to a vet and I’m getting some tetracycline powder to give my sick chickens in their water, but how long do I have to wait to use their eggs after they have antibiotics?

Did the vet tell you what the withdrawal period was?
What form of tetracycline do you have and what is the dose? Here is a paper stating withdrawal periods for various forms and dosages of tetracycline:

No the vet didn’t tell me, but I can ask on Monday, I haven’t given them the med yet, I pick it up on Monday
