My chickens are playing mind games

Wow! I'd sure like to see a video of a hen carrying an egg! So far I havn't had the problem and figured that if they couldn't roll them to another box, the eggs would stay where they laid them! They're more creative than I have given them credit for!

I had a broody BR that would keep eggs tucked up under her wings. I would pick her up out of the nest box to make her eat and drink. When I would set her down on the ground, eggs would fall from her "arm pits"!!!!!!!

Update - They're doing it again!!!!! Two days ago a fake egg and a golf ball disappeared. Last night the egg and the golf ball were in the feed pan.

I think they must be smarter than we give them credit for. It makes you wonder what other plots they are thinking up right now
