I was out today cleaning coops, i currently have 1 banty roo and his 2 ladies in a kennel beside the coop, i was cleaning the kennel and decided to move it and sew grass there , upon moving it, about 4 mice flew out from under kennel, as i was watching them i noticed my girls ran over to the middle of the bare spot , a mice nest was there in the ground, a hen grabbed a lil baby and took off with it, I had on gloves so i hurried and scooped up the other 6 baby mice, about that time i see my SLW in the coop with a mouse all the others running after her, i put baby mice in a lil box and ran in chased down SLW and got that mouse away from her, which was dead, but i looked all over for that other lil baby mouse and i fear my hen ate it, there very tiny eyes aren't open but they have fur, Do chickens eat mice???? This happen so fast it freaked me out...the lil neighbor girl was here so i couldn't kill the babys uggh so i brought them inside , i didn't want her to see me dispose of them, i don't think they will live without there mother, what should i do with them???????
