My chickens B-day!

My chickens turned 1 year-old today

! they got a treat of oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, and carrots and on the 19th I will have had chickens for 1 year, that's when they arrived from Ideal.

This thread made me wonder if chicken life starts from the lay or hatch date?

You know, I've found myself thinking the same exact thing quite a few times before. I think it would be the hatch date because that's when they are 'born' and they can die easily while inside the egg. Just my thoughts.
