My chicken's breed!

I've been reading a lot of different posts on this site. I have always known that my Araucna wasn't a true one. But now I think I know what she truely is. An Easter Egger! She lays green eggs and has the 'poof face'. Also, is that what EE stands for, Easter Egger?

You are correct EE= easter egger and 95% of the time, if from hatchery, just a mutt with a green egg gene.

Thank you so much! I will get pictures posted as soon as I figure it out. I actually got her from the local feed store. I had a game hen that always wanted to sit on eggs, she'd stay there for months if I let her. So a couple times I got fertilized eggs from friends for her to hatch and a couple times I bought chicks and switched them for the eggs when she wasn't looking and she'd think the eggs hatched.

My EE's name is Poof Face. She lays green eggs. And sometimes she tries to crow. It sounds like when a baby rooster is starting to figure out how to crow and they don't have it down yet. Do any of your hens do that?

Aww... she's pretty! I have one just like her, I'll have to get a picture. Never had a hen crow, but it has been known to happen.
