My chicken's breed!

Here is a picture of the silkie that was rescued Monday from storm and dog. This is cool now that I know how to post pictures! I haven't named this pretty, sweet girl yet. First time I've had a silkie. I will go outside and take pictures of my other chickens too.

I had an EE hen that looked just like yours, ibpboo. Then that stupid fox got her. I miss that little girl. She laid like clockwork in the horse's hay manger.

None of my hens crow - but I have a banty roo who crows ALL THE TIME so I guess my girls feel since he is such a big mouth they will stick to laying eggs LOL

the silkie is too cute - wish I had a few but DH says they dont look like chickens - so cant have any

she looks great for having been in bad weather and a dog messing with her. maybe name her Lucky lol

The picture of the silkie is after she had a bath and was dried. She was muddy, drenched and a few feathers were bloody. She just sat in the bath water, she is very sweet. Their feathers are almost like fur. She is starting to walk around a bit more today. Sorry to hear about your EE Ang.
