Cool treat time that is

Everyday since forever it seems, since the heat is so bad my flock gets a whole water melon around 11:30 a.m. If I'm late there they are waiting & fussing by the back of the house.

Thank goodness watermelons are about 3.00, that adds up after awhile. So next yr. I'm planning a ex-large watermelon patch lol.

Mine can tell the weather.

If they are panting---its hot.

If they are shivering---its cold

If they don't move at all---its very, very cold

If they are wet---its raining

If they are white---Its snowing

If their feathers are moving---its windy
