my chickens can't get down from their roost!

Everything I know about coop design I learned here...

Roosts should be no more than 4' high, and nesting boxes should be lower than the roosts
So far this all is working great for my flock - I have 2 roosts, and they all climb onto the highest one at night.
My nesting boxes are 2' off the ground.

How did it all turn out? Do you still have to pluck your hens off the roost at 4 a.m. each morning? I see I'm not the only one with this problem...
