my chickens earlobes!! what does it mean

my chicken has red earlobes and red around its eye
like all chickens do.
the sometimes they both fade to white but not all the way.
then it goes back to red.

this happens everyday why?

Could have a circulation problem / heart problem... but I'm not a chicken vet.

How old is this little red bird?

Doesn't look young.

My Cornish hen's lobes and face will change color. Deep red when she is excited, mad, or laying an egg, then fade to a pale rosy pink when she is relaxed. If she is really stressed out (the bulldog chasing her-very rarely, but it happens) then they will blanch out to almost white. But, when I pick her up, she calms down, then gets mad, and they go back to deep red. I think it is normal, unless you are seeing odd behavior from her.

I think it is normal. I have watched several of my girls lay eggs and their comb/earlobes do change color as they sit in the nestbox waiting. They get very pale and then just as they push out the egg, they get very red again.

My banty cochin's face turns colors depending upon her mood. As long as youo don't see the skin go blue/grey/purple (which indicates heart problems), it's normal.
