My Chickens eye (it got removed) keeps getting swollen, ive seen a vet about it and hes drained it about 5 times now but it keeps getting swollen. I don't know what to do about it and I can't keep seeing a vet for it because of tight money issues (the stuff he takes out is hard and yellow, and it's only in the eye socket. She's normal and very active after its removed, but once it gets large again she gets more tired but not to a alarming point, I've been keeping her inside after its removed to try and keep her in a cleaner environment but it still gets swollen after about 4 weeks )

It sounds like a very localized infection and something you should be able to conquer on your own. Very simply remove the pus as it accumulates by expressing it out of the tissue around the socket, flush with saline, and then pack the socket with antibacterial ointment such as triple antibiotic ointment or Neosporin.

It may require a few weeks of treatment, but you should be able to stop this cycle.
