Just thought I'd share. 
. My husband brews beer at home, and he has to steep a bag of grains to make the beer (kind of like a giant tea bag). After the grains have steeped, we save them for chicken treats. They go nuts over them. If the see me coming with spent grains, I usually have to duck and cover to avoid the stampede! Any other homebrewers out there notice this?
