How sweet.....He/She is a beautiful kitten too. Any luck to get close to the kitten? Wonderful that you and the neighbors have decided to have it fixed and vaccinated. Too many unwanted animals out there anyway.....

Hey Lilbizzy,
Only you would attract a kitten to your coop......and now we have yet another story. Someone certainly wants you to write. Please keep us updated on this one.

Exactly. Would you mind if I stole her?

Hee hee, Emzy, I wouldn't mind if you stole her, cause I know you'd take good care of her. BUT.. I think my neighbor and my chickens woud mind very much

It's all Hardy's fault. He is a lot like his dad, but he just doesn't stir up the storytelling. Right now, he's acting more like his Uncle Weeman. He is so rough with the girls, and I am giving him time in hopes he calms down, but the poor girls !! He bites their heads and necks. They look so battered. But he is one Big Handsome dude:

So, I guess little kitten will have to have his/her own story, eh? I think that is possible...

LilBizzy, I just saw this thread for the first time. This story is darling!

On a side note, PM me when you are coming to the Bay Area. We'll have to get together!

I have a Barr rock Roo that has adopted my neighbors Hunting dogs, and one of the females he is very fond of. He sits with her all day, clucking at her, sleeps with her at night and flys out of her pen to forage and then back into the pen to keep her company. Wierdest thing. None of the other hounds mess with him, and she seems to like his attentions. lol.
He doesnt even associate with the other chickens or hens. He has eyes for the Gyp only.
