What my chickens are telling me is that there are really spoiled chickens down in Florida, that it's inhumane to even think of letting them live in an unheated Maine coop when temps drop below zero like they just did. They're telling me that if they can't have enough electricity to power the tanning salon they're planning to install (they're buff-colored already for crying out loud!) or if I don't install the wide-screen TV so they can watch the latest Chicken Scene Investigators (CSI) then they will go on strike in soidarity with their Southern Sisters.
Do us all a favor and pull the plug. It's warm down there. That's why old Mainers move there.
