I have 6, 5-month old hens, mixed flock, and so far 2 of them started laying just this week. So exciting! Congrats on yours.

After two weeks, at least 2 others (we've actually seen them in the laying boxes) have started laying. We have a lovely rainbow of eggs.

So one of my girls is finally laying too. There was a shell less egg on Saturday then I got an egg on Monday and Tuesday.

i chose my chickens based on egg production and i get a variety of brown eggs, seeing the blue and green eggs always makes me wish i got Easter eggers, maybe web i move to a place with a bigger yard and can extend the flock i will get some
