My Chickens have stopped laying

Can anyone help we have 3 ex battery hens who are 2 years old, they have been laying well up until the start of the hot weather in June but now 2 have stopped laying all together (3 weeks since last layed) any advice?

From what I understand, it's the heat. My first hen who started laying and was laying every other day for a week, just up and stopped. Today was the 1st day she layed an egg in 5 days, so I'm sure it's the heat - been over 100 here in north Texas for a while. I think some people make their own evaporator coolers or use a mister. I'm going to dig my old mister out in a bit and see if that helps. Do a bit of searching on this site and you may find some other ideas.

are they losing feathers like a molt?

Thanks for the replies, yes they are loosing feathers.

it could be a combination of heat and molting it could be another month before you see an egg if its a molt
