My Chickens have stopped laying

Hi,
I have just started raising chickens. I have had 3 hens for about a month & then I bought 2 more & a rooster about 2 weeks ago. I have put the 2 "families" together and they have pretty much established the pecking order. But 2 of
the hens that were laying have not laid an egg for about 5 days. Is this normal? I would appreciate any feed back on this.

It may take the flock a while to settle down to the change before normal laying resumes. Or, they could be laying elsewhere, especially if they have access to places to hide a nest.

I agree with flock watcher . They will probably start laying soon, if they're hiding the eggs somewhere!

They have a large run, but I have not them free range yet so I would find the eggs. I will be patient & hope for the best.
