Mine were using the nesting boxes as litter boxes!!
And it's those old metal nest boxes and I have 2 girls who roost on top of that and they pooh up there and it's Nasty!! Blocked off the litter boxes during the night so hopefully that will help!!
Wish your chickens would come over and have a nice long chat with mine about poohing outside!!!
