Yes I know. It's summer in South America now, so I'm just wondering why a random pic of a snowman.
Being an emancipated minor myself, sailing the South Pacific and knowing more than a few "off the grid" hippies and many of them trust fund babies, I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Solar, PV is amazing, Cell reception can be anywhere there is a tower.Thinking it possible somebody could be a few slices short of a loaf and/or just darn lonely out in the jungle. It happens.
Last bunch of tropical photos shows two different climates or micro climates. That would be a hell of a trek to get from one to the other. The hut looks more African than SA.
So, some bored kid, maybe snowed in (lol) or strange adult getting their kicks... somebody needs a job.

All true. A satellite phone is possible too.
However, if one were to take it as fact rather than fiction. No one would have the time to do all of that and still spend so much time on here. Sure an incredible amount of disruption for only a week on the site.
I vote 'bored'.

Colombian and Peruvian building styles don't match up from what I can tell. Well, that was fun.

No. They can't cross the Panama Canal.

By the way, there are no Bald Eagles in South America either.

Not sure if your post is tongue-in-cheek? The Panama Canal would have nothing to do with the presence or lack thereof of coons in SA, they certainly could cross that length of water and much more. Not to mention its recent construction.

Bet this critter eats some chickens!
