My chickens went crazy tonight!

Everything was fine when I went out to turn them out this AM. I have a very small setup - 5 birds, a chicken hutch and egg box, in a 12 x 8 chain link dog kennel - and places for a predator to hide would be very limited. In fact, there's really only one place and it would have to be a small rat or snake. But I saw nothing last night nor this morning.
 
My Faverolles roosters set off a warning call over a certain type of butterfly. I think when they're flying up above they look like hawks to the poor fellas. (They're young, yet.)

It puzzled me no end until I figured out what in the world was worrying them so much. Scary butterflies! I imagine they'll eventually learn... I hope! It maybe something harmless, but definitely keep your eye out.
