My chickens werid eyes

Hey Dawg.. acv in the eye is not a prob... I use it on myself for conjunctivitis. It helps to kill the bacteria and temporarily clear up the gunk and stops any itching.

I'm not doubting you and it would work for sure. I've accidently splashed diluted ACV in my eye and it burned like hell. Personally I wouldnt do it to a chicken nor myself intentionally.

LOL..yes, it does sting! but only for a few seconds. The relief is well worth it. I was only suggesting it until the other meds could be procured and applied. I figured my chickens don't seem to hold it against me when I do "surgery" to rid them of bumblefoot - they'll probably forgive me for a moment of stinging.
