Welcome to BYC!

If these are chicks, yes you will need to brood them in a brooder under heat. Hatchlings start at 95 degrees the first week and the temp lowered by 5 degrees each week there after for 6 weeks. If these birds are older than 6 weeks of age, they can go right out to the coop.

Plymouth Rocks are great chickens to keep! Very docile, friendly and great layers as well. Great to have you aboard and enjoy your new adventure!
