Very pretty birds. Is Smaug very mean? We had a new hampshire red roo and he was the meanest roo we ever had and the sneakiest. He was a pistol. What is a dorking? I have never heard of that before.

Smaug wasn't very tame, so he was too afraid of us to be mean. However, I have a feeling he may have been if he had been tamed at a young age.

Dorkings are a really old breed of bird that the Romans created or something like that. They have short legs, extra toes, and some say the best tasting meat among all chickens. They are pretty awesome, though I find the short legs to be a disadvantage when it comes to foraging and pecking order.
