Sorry your probably right I don’t own quail, I deleted it so nobody will take that advice.
It's ok. Baby quail really need high protein to grow. Once the quail is full grown one could have feed that feed.
 
NatJ I'm pretty sure they had good a good quail specific water feeder and there were marbles in it! they were very sleepy otherwise no signs of sickness and I think they were not overheated! an I'm staying with the original stuff yes! anyways I'm archiving this now I have got enough info and I will use this to my advantage on my next batch!
95 is too hot.

Really 95 Fahrenheit is to hot??
It's been a long time since I had quail, and when I did, I did not measure the temperature, I watched their behavior and adjusted the lamp until they were like the ones in the middle.

Another thing I do for *all* chicks, ducklings, peachicks, and poults being introduced to a brooder is fill their waterer with warm water since drinking cold water can chill them.
