Glad you got your babies and they are in your loving care! Please post pics when you can, your chicks sound adorableMy chicks showed up a day earlier than normal and I am completely unprepared! I was already on my way to work when I got the call from the Post Office. Luckily it is going to be very hot out today because I don't have a heating pad with me, and I had a waterer in the back of my car. No food thoughI know they can go without it until I get home but I like to do all I can to get them off to a good start about their scary journey. All arrived well but there are a couple of silver Sebrights (yay!) in there that are very sad and cold. We have a shed here at work that I usually set them up in until I go home but for now they are in my car because I think it might be warmer at the moment.
@toomanyjewels have yours arrived yet? Mine usually don't show up until Friday around 11!
I can't wait to see what colors they will be !I can't wait to see how they turn out! The chipmunk down can be deceiving - even though they look the same now they can turn out to be all different beautiful colors and patterns![]()

YAY! Make sure just a to get a heater in case of emergency!I got them set up in a rabbit hutch because my brooder coop is occupied for the next couple days. All survived through the night and I'm so happy! Trying not to get my hopes up because I know losses can still happen. I brood outdoors even in winter but I think this weather really helps. They are all out in the "run" part eating and drinking and peeping and happy.
