My chicks are dieing

Couple of quick questions-is this a variety of breeds you have and how old are they(if you said, sorry-I really did look before I asked).

hmm, how many worms did they have before you quit?
they can not digest that without baby chick grit
and they are really young to have anything but the chick start and grow
I give mine the medicated
you can get the chick grit (not parrot, not with oyster, etc, not the chicken grit)
jsut chick grit
i get it at my feed store, but call around, not all stock it
and some try to sell you parrot grit instead
the chick grit is red, finely ground stuff

anyway, that would help them digest whatever you gave them if that was part of the problem

other crazy things that effect chicks, do you cook with teflon? the fumes from that kill chicks
also any cleaning products can kill them
they are very very sensitive to anything respiratory. I'm afraid to use anything but soap and water when I have little chicks in the house.

So sorry for your losses

did you hatch these chicks or were they shipped or feed store?

Hello everyone. Thank you all for taking the time to figure this out. I have EE's Production reds, White Leghorns and Black Australorps. And I didn't say at any of my posts. I gave them probably 20 worms and couldn't find more. I figured since the momma walks around and finds bugs and stuff like that. I bet the way you all are talking is what done it. I do have grit down. Very clean. They are outside in the shed. No cleanning products. But they have had the runny brown poop for their whole lives. I soon as I put them in they had diarrhia. I hope that answers them

Thank you!

Still not sure how old they are, but it could be impacted crops.
Have you felt to see if they had a hard knot on the right side of the chest area?
15 out of how many chicks have you lost?
Any of them standing in a corner fluffed out with their eyes closed?
One thing I might suggest(although others will disagree) is lowering that brooder to 90 degrees. I start my chicks out at 90-a lot of other people say 95, but that is just me.
I'm sorry for so many questions, the loose poo could be caused by a variety of things.

ETA: I had a leghorn rooster that was the meanest thing on 2 legs!

I am sorry. I keep forgetting haha. I received 51 babies. They were hatch of March 17th. 4 days old. Thanks!

Their crops are just filled with feed. Real hungry feelers! haha

None of them are in the corner. Their eyed do close alot though before they die.
