My chicks are finally here!!!

Hey everyone, I ordered a batch of chicks back in January and they finally arrived yesterday! It’s my first order from a hatchery, but what makes it more exciting is that I haven’t had any chickens in a month. (Which feels like FOREVER!) I ordered 16 little chicks and 15 survived in transit. We’ve already had a few crazy moments, but they are just so cute. The breeds we got are Cuckoo Marans, Bielefelders, Speckled Sussex, Partridge Plymouth Rocks, Columbian Wyandottes, and a BLRW (surprise chick ). We had a silver polish as well but she’s the one that sadly passed. I can’t wait to share how this adventure goes!

I received my 10 assorted polish breed one week ago. Sadly two did not make it. (FTT). Other than that, the rest are Great!

Our other 3 bird orders arrived yesterday! A standard chick order, a bantam order, and a gosling order.

The pictures are of some of the bantams and the geese. Need to get some pictures of the new standards. So many birds, but they are so fun! I’m excited to watch them grow!
