Grandsons White Cochin
I ordered 10 Rhode Island Reds, 10 Domeneckers, 10 Buff Orpingtons, 2 White Cochins, and 2 Blue Cochins - 34 in all. No DOA.
I got everything but the 2 Blue Cochins which my 5yo DGS wanted. Marie from Ideal called me yesterday around 2:00 and told me that they have boxed up my chicks to mail but did not have any blue cochins. I asked her if it was to late to add 2 different breeds as these were chosen by my DGS and I could not have 1 DGS get his special chickens and the other not. She replied that she didn't think they had any standard chicks left. I then said that I would be forever grateful and would pay any extra $ just so that 2 somethings with a beak and feathers (chicks, ducks, geese, turkey, whatever) and was different than the others arrived in my box. Oh that it would be super great if the feathered something happened to have blue in it's name. She called me back about 30 minutes later and said they had found not 2 but 3 Blue Andalusians! They could have easily told me to bad but instead they went above and beyond!
