Put me in the "only one pullet" club.

Combs this large and red at this age indicate roosters. Hens do get combs, but not til later as stated. That's why knowing age is important when sexing some birds. What's normal comb-wise on a ten week old cockeral would also be normal on a 3-4 month old hen.

Color also indicates roo. The barred bird is quite light, thus roo. The first bird looks to be a black breasted red, maybe a welsummer? and the color states male. Dark shading on the red bird says male. They also have pretty thick legs, not always reliable in itself but when taken as part of the whole, well, you've got a lot of boys to find homes for.

The good news? Only keeping one pullet means you get to buy more chickens!

THANKS!! I was afraid of that! The farm I got them from will take them and replace them with pullets. Sad though b/c my family is attached to them. :( THANK YOU for all of your help!
