My chicks didn't make it.

Just to let you know, even though I called the other day they will probably be shipping my replacement for next week delivery. If it changes I will let you know. I really wish they were out there now with all this warm weather.

They will be replacing my chicks this coming weekend, but I have put them on alert. I will decide if temps will be too extreme. Right now the forecast shows them to be 23 degrees warmer then last time. Huge difference! Also, I plan on cutting off one of the legs of the trip being made by picking them up at the airport directly. That 1 hour trip will cut 6 hours off their time waiting around and having to be out twice more in the temps. They get a much better chance this time around!

Foghorn, that's good to hear. How did you make arrangements to get them at the airport? I thought you could'nt do that. Let us know because that is a great idea.

We had a batch of chics come through the PO last night that were ok. Just hope the same for next weeksfor you and I, oh and anyone else that has orders in.

ahhh...that would help LOL. Best of luck, ours will be coming this week also from MM. We have 30 girls ordered plus the freebie. My wife hopes it will be a banty roo. We are getting RIR's buff rocks, barred rocks, and 2 light brahmas for my 5 yr old daughter who is more excited than we are!
