I have my hen who, for lack of the correct word, is a female fighting rooster... She is really nice.. but I dont wanna breed any more fighting birds so I have been eatting her eggs, I felt bad when she started to brood and so i ordered her some cochin eggs that I placed for her... out of 12 only 2 are good. Here are the pics...

I noticed you're in La Feria. I'm not too far -- Edinburg. I have a hen just like yours that I'm keeping for the purpose of incubating my other eggs. Looks like yours did a good job on it!

texascowboy1979 I'm sorry to disappoint since I have a bunch of RIR and a pair of BR. (They call them ABADA's in spanish.) I was going to try and raise some Modern Game (Jiros) chicks (like your chicken) but the Rooster was just TOO AGGRESIVE. I'm sure it's a good quality for those that are cock fighters, but not what I was looking for so I traded him to my brother for two chickens. My chickens are GREAT LAYERS and right now, that's all I'm looking for.

I just set my first batch in the incubator. If I'm able to get some of the chicks at the end of the three weeks I'm gonna try my hand at other breeds.
