Hello! First we bought 2 chicks from the market we already have older chickens 2 hens and a rooster so when we came home with the chicks we decided to put the chicks in the big chickens cage later on I came to check on them and i saw that a chicks head was bleeding then straight away i got another cage then put them in he's ok now but he has a bald spot on his head I'm planning on not touching it but its not bleeding now phew.... so what do i do will its feathers grow back on his head?? please reply!!! Thanks, ChickensInTheYard

Feathers will come back nothing to worry about. Watch him closely to make sure his head dose not get infected. If it is real bad now I would start antibiotics. I also use Neosporin or a wound dressing on the head. If you use a dressing keep him warm. It's to cold to just leave him outside.

yes we use a sheet on top of his cage he is now separated by the mean chickens and with his buddy now he seems good now just doesn't like to be touched near his head.
