My chicks wouldn’t stop pushing out the bedding.

Push it out of where? Doing what? What's your setup? Pictures? Not a lot of information here. If you mean the pop door, ideally the pop door should be raised some distance off the floor level, to keep the bedding in. If it's not, and you have enough overhead clearance in the doorway, you can put a board down across the bottom to keep the bedding in.

Here's the laziest "fix." Take a small board, something like a 1x2 or 1x3 should do, and place it inside the coop across the pop door to form a lip to hold bedding in. If you want it to be permanent, just screw it in place. Or you can use some bricks on either side to wedge it in place. The chickens can easily step over the 2-3" lip to get in and out.
