this is a weird question but why dont my chickens like to be held

holding them from their very first days helps... keep handling them and perhaps they will get used to you. how old are they now?

My chickens love to be held. I walk around the garden carring them and they coo and chirp really cute. Go to my page to see how I tame chicks; it should help you....

The only chicks I have that likes to be handled is my blue laced red wyandottes. They follow me around everywhere and they are my most friendliest breed of chicken I have followed by my turkens.

I would continue to hold them and hope they get used to it...I hold my baby chicks twice a day to imprint them.

I like to set aside a certain time a day to hold and socialize with my chicks. Sometimes its just sitting by their brooder and talking to them softly and sometimes I pick them up and hold them. This has worked beautifully for me in the past.
