My chicks

You know this is my first run with chickens. I find myself watching them alot. I didn't know they could have personalities. Ive got no fancy ones and don't know really what they will look like when their feathers come in. Im amazed at how fast they grow and the likings for bugs.

Yes Chickens do Skype.

Since my children like 8 hours down the road we skype alot. The wanted to see the chickens. So of course I had to get them. I put the rooster on my head and had a peep in my hand. I was talking about the chick and told them I had a rooster but I couldnt find him. They thought it was hilarious.

Ive got a temporary fence up. The ladies wont have a run but I needed to do something to keep them close until there free ranging. Im glad to see the fence it working.

been free ranging a few days now. All is good and they seem happy. They are as tired of the rain as i am. Ive been cleaning out the shop and have stuff scattered all over the place. They have been nosey.
