My chocolate silkie project

Pics
Wow that black one had super dark pigment! How old were they when processed and do they make a good meal? I have been asked if it is worth processing silkies/bantams because of how small they are. So I wondered if you wait for a certain age will they be better (large enough to make it worth the time?)

The ones I processed where 20250608 (19 weeks),20250629 (16 weeks),2025720 (13 weeks)and 20250803 (11 weeks)hatches. This is about the age sometimes younger on standards because the meat is the most tender. Some are smaller so I will eat two at a time.

I still can’t tell if this is a cockerel or not it was hatched 20250720
