My clay model (fail alert)

I like it! Why do you think it's a fail?
I like playing with clay and I never bake. In my case I don't paint either. If I really think I've failed (rarely) due to collapse I sit mine back in water and start over.

I like it without the gloss. Do you like glossy or flat colors?

The gloss will make it more vibrant and give it more depth! Eye catching! Wait, I changed my mind I vote glossy!

It's really up to you. I've never done pottery, so I don't have an idea of how it would look. My gut reaction is to go for a matte or semi-gloss glaze.
