My closest neighbor is mad at me over a roo,,,, not what you think!

ahaha! thats funny! I only have two neighbors, one next to me and one behind. they are both wonderful people and LOVE our ducks! the one on our side says the ducks can go in his yard anytime as long as we tell him so he puts his lab inside. we wants them to eat the bugs and weeds! the ones behind us have a sweet little beagle that is awesome for warning about predators. when she barks, you run outside to make sure the ducks are safe. then we've got the people that walk by, and they will bring chairs and sit and watch the ducks play! everyone was upset when we lost chubby and slushie, but the boys are pretty funny! its amazing how easily these guys steal your heart

My 2 year old mimmicks animal sounds like all young kids do. When you ask her how a rooster goes that is about how she does. Because the roosters she hears the most are the Silkies. It sounds like they get in crowing contest. And they sound sort of muffled or horse.

My mother n law is just about the only neighbor that can hear my roosters. She loves to her them. She leaves her bedroom window open alot just to hear the roosters and donkeys in the early morning hours.

YAY!!!!!!! and now there will be another chicken addict! i think your neighbor will have to get some girls for Snowball...LOL!

I had the same kind of complaint from a neighbor when I sold my Welsummer trio. The neighbors loved the sound of his crow!

Isn't that a wonderful complaint, when someone loves your birds?

I'm always wondering what my neighbors think about my rooster who has no idea what time he should be crowing so in order to not miss any opportunity, he crows all day and night!

I'm so happy you were able to get Snowball back!! I have a suspect roo in my pullets and the more I get to know him/her the more I like the idea of having the big guy around. Hubby isn't too excited about having a rooster. We'll wait and see if any neighbors complain. My next door neighbor is moving to a larger property and has said she'll take him if we can't keep him. Yeh for your neighbor!
